Car we wanted was not available when we went to pick up, but they gave us a larger vehicle and cut the price so it worked out even better.

The customer survive was amazing. Very friendly staff with great professional engagement. The only area of improvement was in car presentation. The vehicle was not externally cleaned well. The detail staff left the entice bottom half of the vehicle dirty. You could actually see where they stopped cleaning. Looked very bad.
Service is and always great. Despite the lack of office space for employees, the lobby and seating area is small and not clean at all given what the gracious staff has to deal with you can tell they've made the best of I take my hat off to show respect...thanks a lot
I booked a “Camry or similar” and they tried to give me a Kia Forte. Not even close. After talking with them about it, they gave me a Kia Sportage. Better, but still not what I paid for. Maybe it won’t be everyone’s experience, but you wanted honest feedback.
I had the rental for a week and had to put air in the right front tire every other day and to top that off the engine light, oil change as well low tire light were ALWAYS on. Never again from this company!
they didnt tell us that we couldnt use a dept. card. they also had over sold and were out of cars
Pick up the car and it was dirty i have to wash it and clean it myself and the worst part is I returned the car 3 days early and returned $2.43 cents to my card. Thank you Budget you are the worst rental cars i’ve ever imagined.

The car had a strong cigarette and weed smell. Not acceptable at all but we didn’t realize until we turned the air conditioning on
Nothing the lady at the counter would not rent the car to me and would not give me a reason why I will never try to use this company again
Get better employees
I went to pick up the car and was told that I needed a major credit card. I didn’t have one and they said I would need to leave a deposit (which was fine) and they would run my credit. My credit score wasn’t good enough apparently and that was basically the end of the transaction. Stranded.
Staff was slightly apologetic about not having my requested vehicle.
I showed up on the day of pickup, and they didn't have my car?! All they had was mini-vans, when I had reserved a compact/mid-size. I ended up having to get a last minute rental from another company.
I returned the car one full day earlier than expected and I was still charged for the full three days (even though I had only had the car rented for two). I was told I'd get a call about my refund and, to date, haven't heard from Avis -- despite calling them countless times. Never again.

Honored rental price/cost from Kayak.....got me in Auto that was satisfactory.
Reservation was cancelled without my notification......Avis couldn't honor Kayak price for SUV/large rental. I was quite upset!
The car smelled of cigarette smoke, and it was supposed to be a midsize but was given a small Nissan Sentra
was rejected our car, beware of booking third party with this location

Silver Springs location is remote but the personnel couldn’t have been nicer or more accommodating. Very pleasant. Of course, they didn’t have the car I wanted or reserved, but were accommodating and we worked out a deal. Enjoyed the car they rented me.
I made my reservation to pick up at PVD and when I arrived, it was changed to a downtown Providence location. Costed me an additional $100 in airport fees, taxes, tourism fees. I will NEVER rent from Hertz again
The guys at the Post Rd Branch went out of their way to ensure I was able to secure the commercial van I needed on Friday evening using the Airport Hertz location for processing. The Van could not be parked in the garage at the airport due to size and my flight was arriving after the street stores hours. The manager at the airport terminal also gave me a ride down the street to pick up the van. Kudos to the Hertz teams in Warwick / PVD.
The staff was very helpful and cordial. My car was available on time. I promptly received the receipt after I dropped off the car the night before.
I received the car basically on empty (from a gas standpoint). When I went to drop off the car, the place had closed early, and though there were instructions to "leave it in an open spot," there were no open spots and the cars were all piled on each other.
