There was nothing positive about the experience - dont use Hertz.
We reserved a Hertz car in June, we re-confirmed the reservation on July 9th. We landed at Riverton airport on August 2nd.....and a sign at the Hertz desk said "Closed as of July 1st, please go to Hertz location A, B, or C." Each of those locations were 100 miles away! After a lot of $$ and inconvenience we managed to get to our destination but it did not involve Hertz. hertz did not even take the time to contact pending reservations when a location closed down! Unbelievable. I am told 100s of people went through this since the location closed and Hertz hasn't bothered to fix it. When we reserved I chose Hertz over the local Rent-A-Wreck thinking I could trust the Hertz experience - DONT trust Herz.
