The staff member Mr Herbert was very helpful. I was scheduled to pick up vehicle at 12pm got there at 1220 and no vehicle since the person before didn't return the vehicle. The gentleman didn't have another vehicle to give me so instead of waiting around for an hour or two, he asked another staff member to drop me off where I was staying and he would call when the vehicle returned. He did. Very professional, he apologized etc. Although the sun was extremely hot his conversations made us felt a bit at ease about walking around in the hot sun with no vehicle.

In the US car rentals are within an arm reach. Thrifty in St. Kitts at the airport their hours are 12pm-6PM mon-fri and 12-4 on weekends and holidays. This sucks because the last flight arrives about 10pm nightly. So clients are being inconvenience because of these hours. Also kayak/priceline sent an email telling me I had to get the vehicle by 1030am. Wait a minute 1030 when my reservations said 12pm? Also the prices for that vehicle was very overpriced, $300 for a vehicle Tuesday-Sunday?? It's cheaper in the US, but I needed a car to travel around so I had no choice.

As it was our first time to the island and we didn’t book directly with this location there was a bit of a screw up in picking up the car. We arrived Sat 3/4/23 and the Avis office was already closed and no car was left at the airport for us. We taxied to the office only to find it was closed so had to taxi to our hotel. Once we spoke with a representative on Monday am they were helpful and friendly and helped us get it all squared away.
