I booked a compact for fuel economy and was given a Dodge Charger which is terrible on gas. The Hertz website lists a hold of $200US plus the cost of the rental but they insisted on a $350CAN hold plus the cost of the rental.

Reserved vehicle type (small SUV) was given away to another customer so I had to take a full-sized pickup truck. I was also told that if I chose the fuel option that I would be charged at the going rate ($1.40/liter), instead I was charged 3x that. I was lied to and won't rent w/ Hertz again. The person at the desk was helpful, but the deception about the fuel price meant that instead of $20 I paid $60. Unacceptable and I'll never be back.

Staff (Diana) was friendly and efficient on pick-up and drop off. I've rented from this location before. I am the only driver, travelling along, and I'm always given two key fobs attached together. Together, they are too big for my pocket. I don't need two keys attached together. If you must give me 2 keys, PLEASE separate them, so I don't have to find a wire cutter and do it myself - and possibly lose a key I don't need and didn't ask for!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Javier, who I dealt with on return, was very professional. One thing I didn't like was that I was given 2 key fobs, connected by a thick wire. I was alone, and I didn't need 2 fobs. On pick-up, I asked that the wire be cut, because together the fobs filled my pocket. Staff said, we can't cut the wire, this is the way we do it. That may be convenient for staff, to keep track of all the vehicle's fobs, but I'M the one PAYING for the rental. Having to lug 2 fobs in my pocket all the time was inconvenient and kind of dumb as a business practice.

If you have to go to Saskatchewan in the winter and want snow tires (which are needed), be prepared to pay 20 dollars a day over any amount you were quoted. Felt totally ripped off.

Confirmed my rental a week before, and then less than 24 hours before our pick-up time they called to say they don't have a vehicle for us, and that the location I'd booked it at doesn't even rent commercial vans. Enterprise basically washed their hands of us and left us high and dry, costing us hundreds more than originally anticipated, not to mention the stress of having to scramble to find a van with less than 24 hours till we needed to be loaded up and on the road for a trade show that we simply could not miss. This is the last time we do business with Enterprise.

We upgrade our booking in order to have built in GPS as we were travelling to many different places. Whilst this incurred a higher cost, we were given a bit of a discount and it was worthwhile in the end.

It is a big expense to hire a car for a whole month and we spent a lot of time looking before we found a reasonable deal.

Zaidi helped me out at check-in and check-out and he was very friendly and with such a positive attitude. He took the time to explain everything and not rush through anything. He even gave us option to choose between two vehicles and we got a brand new vehicle. I would book again.

I used National last time, and used them again this time. I won't switch to another company unless I get a better deal or have an issue with National. No issues

There was a french fry or two in between the seats, but thats the least of my concern. Not an issue in my books, just mentioning it in the event other customers would have issues with it.

Everything was as advertised, which is exactly what you want from a rental. No surprises!

Our vehicle had clearly been smoked in at some point and not cleaned all that well. Residual cigarette smoke is gross.
