My reservation for pick up was at 12 noon. No cars were available. Had to wait 2 hours for car. Though I did end up with really luxury car, (upgrade) and discount for inconvenience of waiting

Buyers beware, you might want to check the address of the rental location before purchasing. We specifically requested airport pickup and our reservation was made at the downtown Savannah location. The UBER to town cost me and additional $40.

Very good, didn't waste time with check in for car, quickly and professionally checked us out when returning my car.. Rented a Honda Accord, excellent ride, in great shape, close to 38 miles per gallon. Overall EXCELLENT experience!
Waited 2 hours for the vehicle despite having a reservation.

I went there at my time of reservation and they did not have a car. They told me to come back in the morning, and when I did they not only didn't have a car no one was there working the counter. I left and got a car from enterprise

NO. I found out two days before my rental began that the location will be closed until December. I did't received an email or courtesy call prior to 130 mile trip to Savannah.

I rented an SUV for eight days a family vacation with pickup at a Savannah location on E. Victory Drive -- 5:00pm pickup on Friday May 7th. sparing you the small details that only added to the aggravation i'll go right to the miserable punch line -- the location was CLOSED. FOR GOOD. As in NO LONGER IN BUSINESS. I was dropped at the location by an UBER only to be told by a very nice woman packing boxes that this location is no longer active and they had NO CARS. So much for the reservation. And so much for my morning taking Ubers around Savannah to find a car (there was a shortage) I would like to be contacted by someone from Kayak to discuss this experience and understand how this could possibly have happened. UMMMMM....they could have had a car for me? Or the location from which i supposedly rented (through Kayak) could have still been in business???????
The only reason I chose Budget to rent was the lower price than the competition. However, I ended up receiving an economy size car rather than the minivan that I had initially reserved. The van was not available at Savannah airport, and I needed to get moving as it was past 2 AM and I was extremely tired from an already 1 1/2 hours wait in line. Budget did not deliver on its promise, and I paid more that anticipated for a smaller economy car. And an unanticipated fuel surcharge of $74? After I returned the car with a full tank?

Why did Kayak make this reservation? They did not have any cars. Other people were there and they had no cars too. People were trying to rent uhaul trucks because they needed transportation. Many of us Ubered to the rental place including me only to find they did not have a car for us. I had to Uber to the airport and buy an airline ticket to fly out. I cancelled the car since there were none. I hope your records showed my rental was cancelled. I called Hertz to get it cancelled. I will be looking at my Visa bill to make sure you did not charge me. What a disaster. If this was an airline you would have had to bought my reservation back.

Location of pickup did not have the size car I had reserved, and savings to down grade was very little, ended up with a basic Corolla when I had reserved a full size sedan. First car provided smelled of cigarette smoke and had to be replaced. Second car was not as bad but did not smell that clean. Also had evidence of prior accident with badly dented front right bumper. Needed car for 6 hour drive so did not make issue, but if I had wanted reservation for several days, would not have been happy with what was provided.
