Cheap Car Rentals in The Village / Rio / Armstrong, Savannah

Upon landing, I had a call from Hertz saying there would not be a car available for me. No cars were available at the airport or the other in-town location. The front desk staffs tried to be kind, but it was obvious there simply were no cars available. Had to use Uber and Lyft to get where I was going and then rent a bike. So while in the big scheme of things, it is not earth shattering not sure I would use kayak or a third party affiliate again.

I went there at my time of reservation and they did not have a car. They told me to come back in the morning, and when I did they not only didn't have a car no one was there working the counter. I left and got a car from enterprise

Helpful staff, easy pickup and drop off, no high pressure sales for items I did not want. Most pleasant car rental experience I have ever had, and I’ve had hundreds.

Mackenzie was one of the kindest individuals I’ve run into in this industry. Was traveling w my young family and she made things so much easier for us. Will def look to rent from Enterprise again

Minor inconvenience at pick up. Resolved in 1/2 hour. The vehicles tire pressures were 5 lbs below specs Vehicle’s drivers side window repeatedly malfunctioned Seat belt warning light / sound started coming on for no reason towards end of our trip Staff was friendly and attentive. Overall 4/5 stars.

Why did Kayak make this reservation? They did not have any cars. Other people were there and they had no cars too. People were trying to rent uhaul trucks because they needed transportation. Many of us Ubered to the rental place including me only to find they did not have a car for us. I had to Uber to the airport and buy an airline ticket to fly out. I cancelled the car since there were none. I hope your records showed my rental was cancelled. I called Hertz to get it cancelled. I will be looking at my Visa bill to make sure you did not charge me. What a disaster. If this was an airline you would have had to bought my reservation back.

Location of pickup did not have the size car I had reserved, and savings to down grade was very little, ended up with a basic Corolla when I had reserved a full size sedan. First car provided smelled of cigarette smoke and had to be replaced. Second car was not as bad but did not smell that clean. Also had evidence of prior accident with badly dented front right bumper. Needed car for 6 hour drive so did not make issue, but if I had wanted reservation for several days, would not have been happy with what was provided.

I tried to reserve a car for 1 pm on Saturday Sept. 11 in Savannah GA and did so. The reservation somehow got changed to noon. And your office on Abercorn was closed when I got there. If the office closes at noon, then why give me a noon reservation? I had to go to the airport and thankfully Enterprise helped me. And I now have a $50 pending charge from you on my credit card, and I have no idea why. So not a good experience and it’s apparently going to cost me $50 more dollars.

Car was ready on time and clean. They gave me an upgrade at no additional charge, too!

The rental had 40k plus miles. Had dents all over, hadn’t been washed in a long time. This vehicle was being DUMPED on the other location. I paid to transport the vehicle for AVIS. We will not be coming back.
