Pick up was easy if a little slow. Return was easy but a little confusing since there was no notification to say what to do. Good value for money, specially Car received was in good condition, clean and fueles up.

Limiting mileage to 200km a day is annoying. I didn’t need more but it made me feel like I was renting from easy-rent-a-car.

Pick up and drop off was slow, I wanted to opt out of insurance (credit card covers it) and they didn't seem to know how to do that, no one around to receive the car at drop-off.

The rental return process was much faster than a year ago, probably because there is an operational garage now to return the car, rather than returning the car at the curb where it is chaotic.

The rental car pickup process was still slow. A lot of writing on the contract by the clerk at the counter which negates the online reservation work that I did. Seemed very redundant and time-consuming. You expect a quick pickup process and to be on your way.

Mostly good experience. Since we were visiting Jebel Akhdar, we needed a 4WD and were grateful the agent at pick-up could provide that. I would have been even more grateful had that been clear when I was making the booking. I checked the model we reserved online prior to booking -- when booking with the same company in both Salalah and Muscat -- but that was not a reliable way to ensure we had a 4WD. Also, returning the vehicle at Muscat Airport was very frustrating; there are few and poorly placed signs directing to rental returns, and then there is no way to get through the gate into the parking area, which requires an entry card. This left a poor end to an otherwise great experience, both in Oman and with Dollar Rental.

We got to Muscat airport at 4am. Once we cleared immigration/customs etc we were in our car within 25 minutes and ready to go. Badr who was our check in agent was not only very helpful and easy to deal with, he even walked us from check in counter to the rental car area (5 minute walk) as we got a bit lost. Car was waiting for us with ignition switched on. Instructions for everything was very clear - we got a gate card for the way backk. Returning car took 7-9 mins for all checks and we were all good. Would definitely use Dollar again.

They charged me twice with no explanation whatsoever, no email describing the extra charges. They simply used my deposit after I had left the country and managed to raise the original deposit value to the total amount of my rental, thus charging me twice. I don't recommend.

I have never got the car as Enterprise was not able to provide a car seat for my child. I even phoned in advance to secure it, but the staff was indifferent, claiming “sometimes the seat is here, sometimes it’s not.” Of course it was not when I arrived. And I was then told that I can have the car without the child car seat. What a horrible approach to child safety, isn’t it? My son is 4 so I asked if that’s legal in Oman, not to have any car seat. And the branch manager replied that he is not sure. He doesn’t know the local laws. Seriously? What a knowledgeable stuff! Once again, I have never got the car. And while I rent with Enterprise regularly, this was most likely my last time. PS: I was also told that if I would upgrade and pay more money for a different car with Dollar company, which cooperated with Enterprise, then they would miraculously find me a car seat. I got a bad feeling that Muscat Enterprise branch is scheming. Horrible experience!
