I just accepted the noon pickup time not realizing the store closed at noon. I got there at 12:45 the store was closed. The workers were still in the store, but they refused to rent me the car. I paid for insurance and I need the money back. The confirmation email did not have the stores hours in it. When I spoke with Hertz customer service, they insisted the confirmation email told me the store hours, but it did not.

I went to Congress St in Springfield, MA to pick up the car I reserved and they did not have a car for me and the guy at the desk said, "Too bad!" -After three phone calls with not much help I was told I had to travel 45 minutes to another location and they wanted to charge me $40.00 more than my initial reservation. Finally things got resolved at the Bradley Airport in Windsor Locks, CT location, but I would not ever recommend Springfield Budget. Friends don't let friends rent from Budget! Avoid at all cost!!!

The woman with whom I dealt was a delight. Couldn't have been nicer.

The rental counter at the Springfield train/bus station was not staffed. I called the number and located someone, who advised that they were short staffed. She appeared and was just delightful. But I was a bit delayed by her absence from the counter. Otherwise, the experience was great.

Easy access, easy drop off. The car was jus what I needed to not have to take two cars to the beach for one day. Price was great. I would totally recommend Sixt again and would use them again.

Because I purchased my rental through a third-party I was unaware that there were different fees for in-state and out-of-state miles until I went to pick up the car and had to pay more.
