Pick up and drop off was painless and easy. The Alamo counter is shared with National and Enterprise. Everybody was friendly and helpful.

Car was outstanding, clean and practically new. Overall experience was great!

Manager made it very difficult to rent a vehicle. Your company also has unwritten rules that were absolutely ridiculous. I was on my way to Dallas and was unable to get a car. I ended up driving down to enterprise and y’all should strive to be like them! Enterprise made it so easy and had better customer service. They got me a car at a cheaper rate and I was on my way, Will never try to do business with y’all again.

The staff was nice. I was charged the wrong amount. I followed all the directions to drop off my paperwork and keys in a box because the location was closed when I arrived at the airport. Instead of being charged 87.09 I was charged 105 on my credit card. I have the original receipt and a picture of the mileage etc but have to take the time and hassle to dispute it with my credit card company

Be sure to talk through EVERY CHARGE. Even though I denied all additional offers, they tacked on an additional charge. And when I asked about the final total being nearly $150 over my reservation price, they said that was for the deposit that would be refunded back to my account after dropping off the vehicle. Little did I know, when I checked my CC account afterwards, price was nearly $350 over my reservation price. When I asked about it at the front desk, they said their hands were tied since I initialed the final price. But since I was given false information before initialing, I feel taken advantage of. Will be reporting this and asking for a refund of the additional funds. Very unprofessional.

Simple and easy. The counter agent was very professional and efficient, the car was clean, full of gas and drove great. Drop off was unattended due to 5am arrival at airport! Super easy and highly recommend. BtW, the Hertz counter agent was a complete screwball and cost Hertz another rental.

Kayak was able to find a rental that matched my needs for a good price. The reservation system failed when Enterprise Rent-A-Car suggested a drop-off location that was permanently closed. The clerk at originating rental location, when trying to correct the problem, caused the rate to increase by an additional $200. Not cool.😠

We used a 3rd party to book and and had multiple charges on my account that I had to spend an hour or more on the phone and at the counter getting fixed. I still do not have this matter fixed. I will never recommend or use priceline or Payless car rental again. Horrible experience.

I was given an upgrade since what I had rented was not available like it should have been. I was very pleased with my rental and the ease of retrieving the vehicle. The return of the vehicle was a little different due to a new parking lot being built, which I totally understand the small inconvenience. This was my first time to rent from Palos and I’m very pleased with experience. I will definitely rent from them again!!

We paid to rent a standard size suv, it showed example Cherokee. When we got to Springfield airport and waited in line 30 minutes, she said they don't have Cherokee's at this location and gave us a Chevrolet Trax, which is a small suv, our family of 5 and suitcases would not fit in it. We went back into airport and she offered a Tahoe for $60 per day more. We finally got the Tahoe for $20 per day more. The way most car rentals do, when they can't provide you with what you rented they automatically upgrade to the next size rented. So disappointed that they don't keep there committment.

Everything was great, car was ready, quick check out. My only issue is with the way the car insurance was handled. I paid an amount through Kayak which I found out was through a third party, which if I had an accident I would have been responsible to pay for the repairs and then would have been reimbursed through the third party. I'm sure this was disclosed in the fine print, but seems manipulative. I ended up paying an additional amount through Hertz directly, which would cover all repairs had there been damage or an accident.

It was very convenient to have the cars available just outside the terminal, no shuttle busses, etc. I was surprised at the high mileage, over 50,000, but didnt have any operational problems. The van was very clean and comfortable for 5 people plus our luggage.

Upon returning car, I expressed to clerk, Taylor, that front bumper was scratched when I initially picked up car. Taylor stated that wouldn’t be an issue since I initially picked up car in that condition.

Receive phone call regarding scratched front bumper and I had to take the time to write an email and re-explain condition of car at time of pickup, along with pictures. Poor communication between the two Hertz car company. Customer service should have handled this situation. Hoping to soon be informed of the confirmation of my email.

The car was great - very comfortable. The desk agent was knowledgeable and prompt.

We had rented a car the prior week and had to switch cars for the second week rental so that the second vehicle could be transported to Michigan to be sold. It would have been ideal - and less hassle of moving luggage - to keep the original car (which also had Michigan plates), but both vehicles were comfortable and met our needs.

The computer told the employee that the price we prepaid was not allowed, check with their supervisor. She found the supervisor, both said they never saw this exception. They called their back office, no one is familiar with that exception. took about a half hour to get our rental, otherwise, it's good.

I was given a upgrade that was a Chevy Tahoe rather than a midsize SUV. But that Tahoe had a leaky tire with three plugs in it and I had to keep pulling over and refilling the tire on on a long drive. Also they gave me a car that did not have the left rear turn signal working. Then when I went to turn the car in they said that I had change the car and they charge me $2000 instead of the 299 a week. I’m very disappointed. I will not be using national car rental again.
