Cheap Car Rentals in Fort Pierce St Lucie County Airport

Arrived to pick up car at noon, per reservation. Only one rude kid working the office. He very unapologetically told me there was no car for me, and that I didn’t know how reservations worked because I made my reservation only 30 hours prior to my scheduled pick up rather than several weeks in advance. He told me it would be 2 hours until they could get a car that I wanted. When I asked if I was just supposed to wait there for 2 hours he said I could not wait in the office. I asked if there was a restaurant near by and he directed me to a McDonalds 5 minutes away…by car. Not withstanding that the reservation was not ready at the appointed time, the really irksome part of this was the straight faced unprofessional attitude. Recommend you retrain or replace your employee at the Fort Pierce location.

It did what it promised. We weren't expecting a luxury car. It was a small cheap car to get us around for the week. The engine light came on and I called in and they told me to keep driving unless something noticeable happened and they would run out a new car, but the that went off 2 days later. Drop off was easy, less than 3 minutes. What could have been better? -- Didn't know where to go to meet the shuttle. Got our steps in walking all over the place looking. Not something you want to do after landing and waiting forever for your bags. Maybe an email or text to point that out would help. I think it was buried somewhere in the literature, but make sure you read or call ahead on that, it will save you a lot of aggravation.

There was no one at the desk when I picked the car up. So I had to wait 20 mins. I was told that I could drop the car back at 4pm on Sunday and it was closed. I am grateful that Cheryl who was on the desk when I dropped it the next day was helpful and said she’d take the extra day off. I have not received the closing account as yet, so I don’t have any idea whether that was the case. The Prius was very nice and the staff were courteous.

Car return, no one inspected the car on return to verify that it was refilled or if l was returning it in the condition l rented it. There were 3 workers standing in the distance that l had to approach. They were too busy talking amongst themselves and just informed me to leave the keys in the car, l asked for a receipt to verify my return... They said they email me one later? I left with concerns. The check in process was excellent unlike the return.

it was not made clear that a credit card was needed for the rental after it had been paid for with a debit card without an excessive deposit

It was a total disgrace how they cheated me out my money. I never got the car I reserved I got a car with the check engine light on I got a car with expired tag and got pulled over I took the car back waited 3 hours put another car all in with the first 24 hours you guys then they gave me a call with the wheel I reserve the car to go to Jacksonville for the weekend it's just a waste of my money then she took tell me my car was dirty and that I smoke and I don't want to charge me $450 I said that's ridiculous then she just told me I'll just close the account and left me stranded with no car and I live 41 Mi away so he'll know I would never recommend budget to anyone.

They did not have the vehicle reserved plus the location given was temporarily closed. We had to cancel our plans. Would not deal with Enterprise again
