There were literally hundreds of people in line because other rental car companies were out of cars. Thrifty agents were pleasant despite the crush of people, and a difficult situation went well. Amazing.

Paid for “Corolla or similar” but pretty sure I got a smaller car. We made due but not sure I will use them again

The pickup window didn't have keys to any vehicles at Tampa Airport and there was a line of customers waiting.

They ( 2 employees) didn't greet us as we entered. No one else was in the office. They were both doing something on a computer. Our car wasn't ready. After a 30 minute delay they eventually said a car was ready. We would get a complimentary upgrade at no extra charge. They had no map of the area and directions to the freeway were sketchy. The Nissan was very clean and nice to drive.

Courtesy and efficiency at check in and drop off. Clean, efficient vehicle.

Customer service was great and the process quick. Very courteous and friendly reception.

This message is for both Kayak and Hertz! Although your pricing may be great the "letter" of detail is outrageous - do to circumstances we arrived later than expected finding that the lot was due to close within 30 minutes - upon calling the rental location for assistance, I was put on hold and was left there until the location was closed "I held the line for additional 10 minutes " hoping for someone to answer. "The Hertz airport location would not assist us in any way unless we wanted to rent something from the with a cost of 4X the markup" - this put us in a real bind as now we had no vehicle for our trip! We ended up renting through a competitor "at 2x the cost". We will not use either of your companies again in the future!

Price and location was good. However the cleanliness and the staff was not great and the pick up location when questions and issues were raised.

The rental car smelled like cigarette scented air freshener. This car was heavily smoked in. I had a constant headache when driving. The rear driver side turn bulb was blown. I bought a new one at auto parts store . Car was old with many miles on it. I will not use Fox again.

The cat was an older model, scratches all over, no windshield washer, had to have it cleaned when I picked it up because I couldn’t see out of the rear window! I asked for another car but the manager said they couldn’t….

This is one of the best car rental places I have been to. Professional staff that made the pickup and return easy. Easy to get to this location also. For some reason also cheaper than the other locations.

Do not use Kayak. I searched for a car rented at the Tampa Airport. I chose a rental. Turns out that Kayak rerouted my rental reservation to a remote location 25 miles from the airport - and that closed at 3 PM. That was a double problem when the plane was delayed by weather and I arrived in Tampa at close to 5 PM. My $350 reservation ended up costing ma $1000 in order to rent at the airport. You read that right. Same car. Same Avis rental. I will NEVER use Kayak again for anything. Never.
