There were literally hundreds of people in line because other rental car companies were out of cars. Thrifty agents were pleasant despite the crush of people, and a difficult situation went well. Amazing.
Paid for “Corolla or similar” but pretty sure I got a smaller car. We made due but not sure I will use them again
Worst ever. No personnel at airport desk. Prepay customers ahead of me had been waiting 1.5 hrs with no sign of someone— a person took care of one client then disappeared. Had to book a car with a competitor on the spot and paid twice as much due to last minute booking. Thrifty never again.
The minivan had issues and handled poorly. It was too late in the day to swap with a different vehicle. Seats didn’t work in the back row and would not fold down.
I know there are limitations, but it would be nice to have more than one person at the airport. We stood in line for quite some time waiting for the one agent to open up for us to rent the car. Other than that, it was a breeze doing business with Thrifty.
The rental car smelled like cigarette scented air freshener. This car was heavily smoked in. I had a constant headache when driving. The rear driver side turn bulb was blown. I bought a new one at auto parts store . Car was old with many miles on it. I will not use Fox again.
The cat was an older model, scratches all over, no windshield washer, had to have it cleaned when I picked it up because I couldn’t see out of the rear window! I asked for another car but the manager said they couldn’t….

Pick-up was effortless and easy, the vehicle was clean and very comfortable and drop off was just as easy.
Too many hidden fees. Paid double then what was quoted. Will not use them again.
Since we tried to find the best value in our rental, we were surprised to have to have an extra $12.99 daily for tolls, or else be penalized $90 if we ever went on any toll road.
