Great car, just a shame we booked from the wrong airport!
Europcar refused to transfer our booking from one airport to another. We would have happily paid a fee to do this, but in the end had to endure an expensive 6 hr round trip to collect our car from the other airport. Admittedly we made a mistake, apparently one many people make at Oslo, but I expected better than the "computer says no" customer service response.
Felt very unsafe driving the car as all four tires were completely bald. The car pulled in every direction while driving and was so loud in the cabin that you couldnt have a conversation.
Extra charges. No attendant in parking lot to help with pick up or return.
The location was great The car was great The drop off was easy the price was good couldn't be happier!!
They ask me for extra money to pay for damages to the car when there were none. The never checked in the car when I returned it and then told me a day later after driving it to a new city. They offered me no insurance option and were generally unfriendly. Hertz has been great in other countries but in Norway the do a fraudulent business.
new merc, easy to drive, well speced
bigger car would have been better, the merc was small for an intermediate sized car. car hire in norway is double the cost of UK and Denmark
