Yes, you will need a passport that is valid for the duration of your stay in Kosovo. However, you will not need a visa, as long as your stay does not exceed 90 days. Note that EU citizens only need a photo ID card to enter Kosovo. If you will be staying 90 days or less and are staying with a registered landlord (hotel or rental), they will notify the police of your presence. If you will be staying with private citizens, you must alert the nearest police station to your presence and duration of your stay.
